The OpenCEL Focused Pulsed unit has been in operation since April at the City of Mesa, AZ, Northwest Water Reclamation Plant. Since start-up the OpenCEL unit has treated more that 5 million gallons of combined primary and waste activated sludge. OpenCEL treatment at Mesa has demonstrated a 41% reduction in biosolids requiring disposal and a corresponding 60% increase in biogas generation.
